XLG series complies

QALED's XLG series complies with the latest safety standards and features an isolated dimming design, catering to both constant current and constant voltage applications.

This series is versatile, suitable for use with general constant current luminaires such as street lights, floodlights, bay lights, or general 12V/24V/48V constant voltage LED strips for lighting applications.

The XLG series not only adheres to the independent control gear design, offering IP67 waterproofing and 3-in-1 dimming functions but also integrates the DALI-2 digital dimming function. This addition provides a more comprehensive solution for intelligent system integration.

DALI (Digital Addressable Lighting Interface) is a protocol defined in the technical standard IEC 62386 for digital control of building lighting systems.

As digital lighting advances, the DALI Alliance (DiiA) has developed the DALI-2 certification program. All DALI-2 certified products are designed to be more compatible and interoperable, reducing pairing issues between different manufacturers.

The newly added products meeting the DALI-2 dimming standard include a full series ranging from XLG-50 to XLG-320W, offering a variety of indoor and outdoor LED lighting options for DALI system integration. Additionally, for products exceeding 150W, an optional 12V/250mA auxiliary source output is available, reducing the risk of damage due to surge conduction.

The XLG series adopts a constant power design, allowing customers to use it with different output currents conveniently. To address issues caused by abnormal temperatures, MEAN WELL has redefined the over-temperature protection feature, ensuring that the LED driver will derate to 75~50% when temperatures rise.

Furthermore, the XLG series also includes IOVP (Input Over Voltage Protection), automatically shutting off the LED driver when the input voltage exceeds 320 VAC, preventing power failure due to excessive AC input voltage.
